Los j�venes que protestan contra "el sistema neoliberal" no son los hijos del fracaso de la econom�a de mercado ni de una sociedad fuertemente basada en el esfuerzo personal, sino de su �xito. Su frustraci�n no est� en relaci�n con un pasado que escasamente conocen, sino con unas aspiraciones que se han multiplicado exponencialmente.
El secreto del malestar del Chile actual no es otro que el malestar del �xito. Y su riesgo: perder el rumbo del progreso y caer nuevamente en la tentaci�n de la acci�n directa, la lucha redistributiva, el populismo y las soluciones m�gicas. Por esto es preciso defender abierta y valientemente las ideas de la libertad mientras la mayor�a opta por el desinter�s, el silencio o la retirada oportunista. Estos son los que menosprecian la batalla de las ideas y un d�a despiertan desbordados por los enemigos de la libertad. Excelente. Certero an�lisis que nos convoca defender nuestras libertades de forma informada, respetuosa y consistente.

En tiempos complejos de la pol�tica de nuestro pa�s (Chile), con elecciones ad portas, movimientos sociales y consignas que traen amargos recuerdos para muchos de nosotros; cuando nuevamente se empiezan instalar argumentos que parecen sacados de otra �poca, de propuestas antisistemicas y de tono revolucionario. Esta lectura me ha generado enorme sentido.
El comprender lo que implican estas consignas as� como los ideales y propuestas detr�s de "las doctrinas" se hace necesario e indispensable para poder de forma -respetuosa y consistente- defender lo que algunos de nosotros pensamos es lo correcto.
La falta de conocimiento nos transforma en individuos incapaces de argumentar a favor de nuestras opiniones, ideales y creencias, mas aun nos transforme en presas f�ciles de grupos adoctrinados.
Personalmente espero que muchos lean estos ensayos y puedan sentirse mas interesados tanto en la pol�tica como en defender lo que todos hemos construido.
Muchas gracias al Autor, Mauricio Rojas por este aporte. Su visi�n es para mi especialmente interesante puesto que pocos han estado en "ambos lados de la vereda".

Novedoso y convincente

Con Mauricio Rojas se cumple la vieja m�xima "nadie es profeta en su tierra". Esto porque estamos frente a un pensador de lujo que apenas es conocido en Chile, mientras que en Suecia hasta lleg� a ser congresista.
El libro me encant� y dan ganas de ponerse como fan�tico religioso a regalar el libro por la calle. De hecho, pensaba comprarlo para regalarlo, pero al parecer est� solo para kindle.
La idea de liberalismo asociativo -explicada en el libro- me ha estado dando vueltas en la cabeza, porque creo que eso es el futuro.
